What you share with us, and what we do with it
Plain English, no small print. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it properly.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, message, and whether you would like to volunteer.
- Get involved applications: your name, email, optional phone and location, and what you tell us about your interests, skills, availability, experience, and motivation.
- Prayer requests: your request, your chosen sharing preference, and optionally your name and email.
- Newsletter: your first name and email address.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any of it.
How we use it
- To reply to you, process an application, pray for a request, or send the newsletter you asked for.
- To run safeguarding checks where a role involves working with young people.
- To understand, in aggregate, which programmes people are asking for.
Who can see it
- Nothing you submit through a form is published on the website.
- Contact messages, applications, prayer requests, and the newsletter list are visible only to iBelong administrators through a private, password-protected dashboard.
- Our database enforces this at the data layer: the public website has no ability to read these records at all.
How long we keep it
- Only as long as we need it for the purpose it was given, plus any period we are legally required to retain records.
- You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Donations
- Card payments are processed by our payment provider. Card numbers never reach iBelong systems and are never stored by us.
- We receive confirmation of the donation and the details needed for acknowledgement and accounting.
Cookies and analytics
- This site uses only what is required to keep it working and to keep a signed-in team member signed in.
- If we add analytics in future, we will say so here first.
Children
- We ask young people not to submit personal information through this website without a parent or guardian involved.
- Programme registration for anyone under 18 goes through a guardian.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
- Use the contact form and we will handle the request.
